It is the time of the year when resorts finally get over with their busy season. Rain starts to pour down more consistently all throughout the country, although the temperature goes up to its highest. When these three signs are seen, you know that it is already June in Belize . The good thing about is that you can expect resorts to put their prices down. You can get the best deals during this time as resort owners still try to calm everything after the rush of the peak months. Expect good deals on room prices, entrance fees, and equipment rental from various providers. The bad thing about is that, since it is the start of the wet season, who knows if you are going to encounter a sunny day or not? But that is part of the excitement, don't you think? There's still a few dozen reasons why it is OK to visit Belize during this time of the year. There may be afternoon rainfall every single day, but June also marks the start of the country's much-awaited lobster season. Now that is something to die for! We all love to eat lobsters especially when they are dirt cheap. Belizeans are no exception to this observation. Residents of Ambergris Caye celebrate this time of the year through the annual San Pedro Lobsterfest . Neighborhood parties and trivia nights mark this annual celebration.
